An accidental shot
This picture is special to me because this was the last day of my vacation. That day was also one of the happiest day of my life, therefore this photo is special to me. This was taken at Agoo, La Union, Philippines. The photo was taken during holy week of 2012.

Sunrise Exposures
This picture is special to me because it is one of many of my friends, who I love. I took it at Relay for Life at the end of April, at sunrise. It is a film picture, and in it there are about 4 or 5 different exposures. It was accidental, but I love how it came out! It relates to the theme Artistic/Creative because of the multiple exposures and the layering and silhouettes.

The Peloton
The peloton is the large main group of riders in a road bicycle race. I was drawn into watching the Tour de France in 2011, then visited France in Sept. This local race in Seattle reminded me of the competition of the riders

Sunset Splash
This is special to me because I was with my friends that I won't be with for a couple years. I took this at Sylvan Beach, NY with my family and friends. This is artistic and creative because of the color and body position that is in this photo.

Seattle Cityscape
I took this picture in Seattle, Washington last month. I recently moved back to California from Orlando, Florida and took the long way home, seeing as much of the country as possible! This picture reminds me that I want to go back to Seattle one day to see what I missed in the short time I was there.

holding a sunflower
my friend was holding her sunflower she found during our vacation to colorado, in august 2010, and i picked up a pair of sunglasses and caught the reflection from our back porch of our cabin, which overlooked the lake and other cabins.

Peace
I loved how the sun behind Face Rock (see the forehead, nose, open mouth, and chin) formed a perfect halo around this lonely woman of the sea. It was such a cold night that, by the time we made our way back to the car, my husband and I could barely close our fingers into fists, but the colorful sunset was more than worth the trip!

BFF"S & Cousins too!
This is so special to me because these are my grandaughters. The picture was taken at a tournament in Canton MI last summer. Special meaning is that they are 5 mos. apart in age & are both very competetive on the soccer field but continue to encouage each other all the way. It's the NATURE of life..on a sports field, in the work place, some days the conditions are different but, it is the nature of life..rain or shine :-)

Summer Cooler
This picture was taken in Jammu India. After a brief thunder shower I caught this Macaque mother and child quenching their thirst from the rain water. It reminds me of how mother nature always provides for its loved ones.

Lonely Light House
This was the first light house I've seen. it was taken an hour north of Santa Barbra CA. on a private beach the size of a small town. If I could I'd take all my photo friends there and have a evening or morning just shooting all the wild life and landscape

Incognito
This is my own shadow. This photo wass captured in an old railway station. It was evening and was good light, and I liked the shadow on the wall of old water tower at this station, which is long gone. It was in this summer.

This picture taken in Bonaire, Netherland Antilles, is of the white slave huts on the south end of the island. The sunset gives them a beautiful pink glow. The huts were once shelter for slaves working on the salt flats.

The inner Photographer
This is a picture of me with my camera. Im 15 years old and I love taking pictures. My camera means so much to me. I look at the world from behind a camera lense. I see the beauty in things because of photography. Im able to look at a situation and say, 'wow! look at that lighting!' or 'what great composition'. So in a way, Photography and art is not just a hobby, but a way of looking at the world.
